With Your Circle Members

Your weekly updates, reactions, and profile information are visible to other members of your circles. This is core to how Sonter works.

We Do NOT Share With

• ✕Data brokers or third-party data aggregators
• ✕Social media platforms
• ✕Anyone else, unless required by law

Data Security

We take security seriously and implement industry-standard measures to protect your data:

• •Row-level security policies ensure you only see your own data and your circles' data

Your Rights and Choices

• •Delete: Delete your updates, leave circles, or delete your account entirely

Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account:

• •Your profile and updates are immediately deleted from circles
• •We may retain backup copies for up to 30 days
• •Anonymized analytics data may be retained for product improvement

Children's Privacy

Sonter is not intended for users under 13 years old. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately.

International Users

Sonter is operated from the United States. If you're using Sonter from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States. By using Sonter, you consent to this transfer.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top will always reflect the most recent version.
