By accessing or using Sonter, you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use Sonter.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll notify you via email or through the app. Your continued use of Sonter after changes means you accept the new terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Sonter. By using Sonter, you represent that you meet this age requirement and have the legal capacity to enter into these terms.

If you're using Sonter on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind that organization to these terms.

3. Your Account

Account Security

You're responsible for:

• •Maintaining the security of your account
• •All activities that occur under your account
• •Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Accuracy

You agree to provide accurate, current information and keep it updated. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts with false or misleading information.

4. Your Content and Intellectual Property

Ownership

You retain all rights to the content you post on Sonter. Your weekly updates, images, and other content remain yours.

License to Us

By posting content on Sonter, you grant us a limited license to:

• •Store, display, and deliver your content to members of your circles
• •Send your updates via email notifications
• •Make technical copies for backups and reliability

This license ends when you delete your content or account.

Content Responsibilities

You're responsible for the content you post. You represent that:

• •You own or have rights to post the content
• •Your content doesn't violate anyone's rights
• •Your content complies with applicable laws

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to use Sonter to:

• ✕Post illegal, harmful, threatening, abusive, or harassing content
• ✕Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity
• ✕Post spam, unsolicited advertising, or promotional content
• ✕Violate anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights
• ✕Interfere with or disrupt the service or servers
• ✕Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or accounts
• ✕Use automated tools (bots, scrapers) without permission
• ✕Collect user information without consent

We reserve the right to remove content and suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

6. Service Availability

We strive to keep Sonter available 24/7, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• •Maintenance and updates
• •Technical issues or outages
• •Third-party service provider issues
• •Events beyond our reasonable control

We're not liable for any disruption, but we'll work to restore service as quickly as possible.

7. Pricing and Payment

Sonter is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future:

• •We'll notify you in advance
• •Core features will remain free
• •You'll have the choice to upgrade or continue using the free version

8. Termination

Your Right to Terminate

You can stop using Sonter and delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon deletion:

• •Your profile and updates will be removed from circles
• •We'll delete your data per our Privacy Policy
• •Your circles owned by you may be transferred or deleted

Our Right to Terminate

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:

• •Violate these Terms & Conditions
• •Engage in abusive or harmful behavior
• •Create security or legal risks

We'll try to notify you before terminating your account unless prohibited by law or there's an immediate security concern.

9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

"As Is" Service

Sonter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We don't guarantee that:

• •The service will be error-free or uninterrupted
• •Defects will be corrected immediately
• •The service meets your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Sonter and its team are not liable for:

• •Indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
• •Loss of data, profits, or goodwill
• •Service interruptions or data breaches
• •Actions of other users or third parties

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Sonter from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

• •Your use of Sonter
• •Your content or conduct
• •Your violation of these terms
• •Your violation of others' rights

11. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes will be resolved through good faith negotiation first. If we can't resolve a dispute, you agree to binding arbitration in California, except for intellectual property disputes which may be brought in court.

12. General Provisions

Entire Agreement

These terms, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Sonter.

Severability

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.

Waiver

Our failure to enforce any right or provision doesn't constitute a waiver of that right or provision.

Assignment

You may not transfer or assign these terms without our consent. We may assign these terms at any time.
